Why should I register?

Register for online account access if you:

  • Would like to view your account information such as coverages and contract information;
  • Prefer to service your account online instead of calling customer service or to perform these changes after service hours;
  • Want to make a one-time auto or property insurance payment;
  • Want to sign up for our monthly electronic funds transfer payment service, called Easy Pay for auto, property, life and annuity;
  • Need to track open or past claims and view payments;
  • Want to communicate securely with a Customer Care representative.

Our customer service hours are Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 7 PM CDT (annuity, life and group) and 7 AM to 8 PM CDT (auto and property).

How do I sign up for online account access?

  • Click the "Register now" option from the home page of under the Customer login section.
  • Fill out the registration form, which will match your information with our database and present your account information if accepted.

How is my information secured?

We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption, the Internet standard in secure browser technology. Secure pages begin their address with "https," and a closed padlock appears in the status bar.

What are the requirements for my password?

Passwords must:

  • Be between 8 and 20 characters.
  • Contain at least one alphabetic character.
  • Contain at least one digit or one special character (!@#$%^&*).
  • Passwords are case sensitive, but you are not required to use capital letters.

What are cookies and why must I accept them from your site?

Cookies are bits of information a site stores on your computer. Horace Mann stores cookies on your computer to ensure your account's security.
