There are two types of compensation associated with liability coverage; bodily injury and property damage.
Bodily injury covers losses resulting from injuries you cause to others. Property damage covers repair costs or the value of property you have damaged.
Who is covered?
- You, along with family members who are living at your residence, are covered if driving your car or another person’s car with their permission.
- Someone else driving your car with your permission.
What is covered?
Those covered can be paid for losses related to:
- Death
- Injury
- Medical care
- Loss of services
- Property damage (in certain states)
You are also covered for certain defense costs, bail bond costs and emergency first aid to others.
