Educator Scholarship Program

We have selected 35 educators from around the country as recipients of this year's $30,000 Horace Mann Educator Scholarship.

The top winner for 2011 is Cynthia Dalveren, a teacher at Patrick Henry School in Cleveland, Ohio and resident of North Ridgeville, Ohio. She will receive a $5,000 scholarship payable over four years.

 

Kindergarten through 12th grade teachers, librarians and teacher's aides were eligible to apply. Recipients were chosen based on their school and community involvement, along with their essay responses.
