Fellowships
Every summer, judges select 50 educators from around the country to study the life and legacy of the 16th president through the Horace Mann – Abraham Lincoln Fellowship Program. This fellowship opportunity brings history to life as fellows walk where Lincoln walked.
Foundation Awards
Horace Mann has partnered with the National Education Association (NEA) and the NEA Foundation to offer the NEA Member Benefits Award for Teaching Excellence. Each year, five finalists are honored at the NEA Foundation’s Annual Salute to Excellence in Education and receive a $10,000 cash prize. The recipient of the award receives an additional $25,000 cash prize.
