How do I set up a DonorsChoose project?
It’s easy for teachers to post projects on the DonorsChoose website:
- Visit www.DonorsChoose.org/teachers.
- Select “Get Started” to create a teacher account.
- Select “Create a Project” then “Get Started.”
- Select project type, then “Save and Create Title.”
- Name the project, then “Save and Go Shopping” at e-school mall.
- “Continue” through the tips DonorsChoose provides, then “Search” or “Go To Website” to shop for materials.
- “Save and Summarize” the shopping cart then write a summary sentence about the request.
- Tell the story of the classroom and project idea.
- Tell donors the impact the materials will have on the students, confirm the project details and submit.
